So last night I met up with Misty and Nikki for chinese food and anime. They gave me a completely awesome Axel figure who is now hanging out on my bookcase. We first watched Sukisho, which apparently was based of a shonen ai dating sim game. Rather sickening cute in places and deliciously cracky in others. I'm counting it as 26$ well spent for the entire series. Then we watched Knights of Ramune, the fanservice anime that wants sooo badly to be a hentai. Poor Misty, constantly victim to Nicki and I's love of bad shows

Later at home I randomly decided to put together my new bed. Which first meant tearing apart the old one. *bangs head* what the hell was I thinking. I was up until 6am getting it done. Ok I kept taking breaks but still. But finally bed was all together. Didn't put all the bedding on it because I was too tired, will do that tonight. New bed is really comfortable and despite being the same size as my old on I think it fits in the space better Crashed and slept until 1pm. Tried to help my place recover from the hurricane swept through after I was done. Still a mess and stuck wondering what to do with the old bed. I couldn't detach one of the siderails from the frame post so I can't fit it into my car and take to goodwill like I originally planned, and don't want to simply through it away. May try selling in the complex or freecycling it. Still I managed to find a bunch of stuff that had fallen under the bed over the years. Kinda scary.

Now to wrap up gifts if i can find my damn scissors that keep disappearing on me.

Finally got my new card to work. Looks like the expiration date as printed on the card is wrong(I have no clue how that happened) So now I can get the card to work online by putting in the right date, but this does not bode well for when I want to use the card at a store. At least I was able to renew my paid account status and get closer to finishing my Christmas Shopping. Just 2 1/2 gifts to go and I am done.

I took a day off work today because, well I wanted to and I had the time. I decided I was going to spend it cleaning and and other chores around the apartment. I got ready to vacuum the downstairs and the carpet sweeper part died on me. It's not the beater bar belt which is what broke the last time, it just doesn't power up or something. *kicks vacuum* Guess it's back to just trying to conquer the clutter.

Went in for a little bit of overtime today. I don't really know why they bothered as it was slow, but hey extra money is good, and it ave me a chance to test out my new arm warmers that I got from Sock-dreams.com.

In case anyone is wondering why a Texas girl would need arm warmers suring the summer, the answer is quite simple. Work has the AC set to artic-cold and I'm under a vent. So typically my arms feel like popsicles. I've tried wearing a poncho, or a jacket, but then the rest of me feels too hot. The arm warmers worked perfectly and looked rather nifty too.

Also I got a "we missed you" delivery notice today, and I have no idea what it's for. It wasn't something that could be left at the office, I don't recognize the sender, and the only thing I've ordered recently is the arm warmers. *ponders* Stupid post office is closed on Saturday, so unless I'm here when they deliever today I won't get to find out until Monday. Argh annoying.

Ok I said I was going to bed, and I did. Insomnia hit and my eyes started itching like crazy(stupid allergies)

So I get up and take a sleeping pill, trying not to rub at my eyes. I then remember and see a bottle off allergy relief pills, I checked the warning labels on both medicine bottles before taking any though. It's a good thing I did because both the sleeping pills and the allergy relief pills were the exact same pill, with the exact dame dosage recommendation. If I had taken any of the allergy pills I would have just been getting a double dose of what I needed. Not necessarily a good thing when dealing with drugs.

I guess the drug companies just wanted to market a sometimes useful side effect of the antihistimine component. Kinda interesting though, almost makes me want to go through the OTC aisle and see what other meds are the same thing just under different names.

Yesterday while I was visiting my parents Mom told me she went back to Dr Gunter(foot doctot who fixed my broken foot years ago) And was quite surprised that he still remembered her as it had been 4 years since her last visit. Turns out he remembers because he's been pulling my x-rays as a teaching tool for med students, something about the way some doctors would have treated my foot and why it's a bad way to treat it.
