Yesterday while I was visiting my parents Mom told me she went back to Dr Gunter(foot doctot who fixed my broken foot years ago) And was quite surprised that he still remembered her as it had been 4 years since her last visit. Turns out he remembers because he's been pulling my x-rays as a teaching tool for med students, something about the way some doctors would have treated my foot and why it's a bad way to treat it.

Sorry should have clarified. When I broke my foot the bones shifted apart slightly, and I had to have surgery to insert pins to set it. Some doctors would have been tempted to just cast it and let it heal on it's own. If that had been done, my foot wouldn't have healed correctly and I'ld probably be walking with a limp and a cane right now. *loves on the foot doctor*
