D'oh!

In posting about all the family drama from Saturday I forgot a couple things.

One me, Larry and Debbie went out to see Zorro. Predicable, but still enough flash and fun to be enjoyable and worth seeing.

Afterwards went to Debbie and Larry's place for drinks and video games and ended up spending the night. The next morning we were just sitting around, talking when Debbie suddenly yelled "AHHH!! You're in my house!!!" She jumps up from the table and runs over to the bookcase. I'm staring at her like she's insane and she also yells out "sugar cookies!" At which point I jump up squealling to join her made hunt. ^___^ I now finally had a copy of my Grandma's Sugar Cookie with Frosting recipie. *dances* sugar cookies sugar cookies sugar cookies. So much joy, now this weekend, I must bake!

Nope no relations.

And here's the recipie(must share the love)

1 cup unsalted butter 1 1/2 cup sugar
3 eggs 3 1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons cram of tartar 1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla

Preheat oven to 350
1. cream together butter and sugar
2. add eggs one at a time, beath until smooth
3. mix dry ingredient in a seperate bowl, slowly add to sugar+egg mixture
4. add vanilla
5. refridgerate dough(sorry it doesn't say how long)
6. roll out dough, cut into shape. bake 8-10 minutes on cookie sheet

Frosting for sugar cookies
1 teaspoon vanilla 1 teaspoon butter
powdered(confectioners) suger and milk(mix to desired thickness)
add food coloring as desired.
