Astroworld Adventures

ladydoujiSo today Jala and I went to Astroworld. For some reason we thought they opened up at 10 or 11 so we headed out early. Turns out the park itself opens at 12 and they don't even open the parking up until 11. We got there at 10:15 and ended up sitting and stewing. Finally got to park and buy our tickets (fortunately they were handing out half-price coupon at the gates) Then we got to wait in a grouded area for an hr for them to actually open the park. Needless to say we were feeling quite murderous when we finally got in.
So we headed over to the games and played whack-a-mole. We each won once and got plush candy-bars. Then headed over to serial thriller, which turned out to be the only rollarcoaster we went on all day due to us getting infected with Ryuogaitis and not want to stand in very long lines. Although we did go on the dungeon drop. We got food and watched a cheesy magic show. The magician was decent and I thought some of the stuff he did was amusing. Food and show done we headed out again. We mainly went on the carnival type rides, which was fun. I ended up looking extremely shoujo when we grabbed some roses from a random bush and stuck it into the odango I had my hair in. We wandered around, bought souviner stuff and ice-cream, played whack-a-mole again and I ended up being able to trade in my silly cady bar plush for a stuffed pony. Wheeee!
And because I know Jala will be posting this part as well, we exited the park and got to the parking lot and I realized I had no clue where I had parked. I knew that it was close to the front but didn't remember exactly where, so we spent 20 minutes wandering the parking lot looking for my car. I have no excuse except for sleep deprivation.
Off to planet anime which is now Anime Avalon. Got myself a smaller wallet and some pencil boards, and home we went to order chinese food, drink margarita's play games and watch cheesy movies.
