I was in an RP group that met for pen-and-paper tabletop games. His friend Karl was in the group, and was talking about me like I was a prospective girlfriend. He told Ian that he had to meet me.

So we go for game night, this time at Karl's house (usually went to Chris' or Justin's...) and Ian happened to be there. Only, Karl and Chris thought it would be funny if Ian pretended to be another guy that wasn't able to come...and so when I first met Ian he was "Matt" and had named his character his real name. PFFT!

Anyway, he was reading a book at a table, minding his own business. And I came in and did the hug rounds. And I didn't know who he was but said, "Hi, I don't know you but I haven't hugged you yet! *HUG!*" and he turned all red. XD I attached to him for the rest of the evening as I HATE being the person in the group that doesn't know anyone...

And thereafter he showed up to game night and I made him download AIM to talk to me (though now I use YIM) and we went from there. ^_~
