Back in town

ladydoujiWent to Ohio for christmas. Flew up at 8am on Christmas morning when me, my brother and sis-law had had maybe 2 hrs of sleep. Plane was a tiny express but very fast. Saw my Grandfather, aunts, and uncles. Gift exchange was the normal madness it always is at that family. At least this year they came up with a system of keeping Debbie's and mine gifts seperated. FInally got to crash on a couch and was very shortly joined by my neice Carolyn. And that was pretty much the first day.
Second Went up to Grandma's. Carolyn got to play and snow, and make a very tiny snowman(stupid powdery snow, couldn't make one decent snowball, let alone a snowman) Shocked and amazed everyone as me and Debbie later sat around doing counted cross-stitch.
Got to spend time listening to my mother, and Ohio relatives bitching about Debbie and Debbie bitching about them(quite frankly she had more reason to bitch because they were spoiling Carolyn rotten and undoing/undermining all the discipline and authority Debbie has with her daughter)
Came time to leave and there was chaos at the airport, fortunately Carolyn wasn't included in the chaos as she's staying with Mom, and Dad at grandpa's for another week. Flight was ok, we actually had enough room in the seats it just fet extremely long and had the roughest landing I have ever experienced. SO Now I am home and soo happy to be back home in my own bed with my feather bed, down comforter and down pillows.
