Happy Thanksgiving

ladydoujiHappy Thanksgiving everyone. I think I had the most relaxing thanksgiving ever. probably because I slept half the day, chilled at home for a couple hrs and spent the evening with Blue. Tried making a new desert i found on www.recipiesource.com called pumpkin creme brulee. I need more practice tith the brulee torch but it was damn tasty. Think lighter and fluffier pumpkin pie filling and you'll have a goof idea of the taste. We watch Gollum's acceptance speech and Red Dwarf. I helped Blue hang up some pictures and we started making dinner. Blue decided to show me a jar of pickled cactus flowers she's had for years and had been unable to open. I offer to give it a go. Grab a screwdriver and use the handle end to bang the sides of the lid denting it in two places. Gave it a little twist and *pop* lid came right off. The look on Blue's face was absolutely priceless. SO we had dinner and watch some of The Two Towers before blue got a call for her d&d game. SO I headed home and am now reading Angel/Spike fics.
