May. 9th, 2004 10:05 pmDidn't do much today. Called my mom to wish her a happy mother's day and see if she wanted to do anything. She declined. o_O alrighty then.
Madameblue invited me out to Van Helsing. Had to sit through trailors for godawful kung-fu movies from the 70's. *whimper* There was one called The Streetfighter. The most frightening thing about it was it some-how spawned 2 sequels. *shudder* Onto Van Helsing. Pretty movie, trying just a bit too hard. And dear god they couldn't have put more subtext between Van Helsing and Dracula if they tried. I mean hitting you over the head with a 2x4 subtext. Not that I'm complaining mind you, but geez there is something to be said for sublety. And then during the ending scene(which was supposed to be a sad scene btw) Madameblue said something that had the two of us stifling giggles so the rest of the theater wouldn't kill us. And we promptly cracked up when the lights came back up and people left. And oooh the pretty pretty masks they had in a scene. So pretty.
