Don't you hate it when. . .
Sep. 3rd, 2002 02:33 pmthere's something wrong at work but no-one is telling you anything. Things are busier than they have any right to be and you're going insane trying to keep up with it all. That's how things are today at the Contact center. There were over 150 calls waiting to be answered when I came in, and the queue stayed over 100 for at least 3 hrs. When I went to lunch it had gotten down to 70, but that's still way higher than it should be. Gennerally things are only like this when there's an emergency at one of the two contact centers we have but no-one is telling us anything. >_< They're also being a bit overly nice to us and giving us snacks(yes this is very very odd, nice but odd) which just re-enforces the suspician that something is wrong. And they're offering overtime all this week. Hopefully we'll find something out before the day ends, I like to know what I'm stuck dealing with this week
