ladydoujitoday was a goooood day.
my friends Misty and Ann came over last night we watch anime, then proceded to bleach and dye my hair a lovely shade of electic blue *pats hair* Hair very pretty, but so abused. Anyway moving on. after a night of very little sleep we headed out to grab Ann's sister Meg's for a day at Astroworld. Took a couple of attmepts as thanks to bad directions I got lost twice going to Ann's house. Her excuse "I don't normally drive in this part of town" -_-, Finally got meg and again thanks to poor directions we ended up taking a long scenic route to Astroworld. *blinks* sadly even though I wasn't familar with the part of town we started in I managed to get us headed in the right direction while they had us going to Renfest(not neccesarily a bad thing if renfest was opened)
Finally got there and got in. It was a great day to go. A lot of schools are still in session before spring break and there were almost NO lines. think the longest we had to wait was 5-10 minutes for Batman the Escape. Misty's favorite starting ride was closed for maintenence ( hey what can ya do it's still early in the season) So we hopped on the Texas cyclone to start us off. Then Escape(which is cool, but man they need to redesign that head padding. It's like they're using your head in bumper cars @_@)
Meg and Ann got hair wraps I got cool hair jewelry called a twister. Hard to describe but it's a spiral of wire that you wrap around a small lock of hair, hold in place with a long pin with a charm on the end. Took a few attempts to get it in, but once it was it stayed put no matter how wild the ride. ^_^ The came lunch followed by the Dungeon drop. Word of advice wear sandals to amusement parks so that on rides where your feet dangle you can just take them off and feel noting but air on your toes. It feels soooooooooo gooooood!!!!!. Played mash a mole and I won a pretty purple teddy named Rufus. The new ride Serial Thriller ROCKS!!!!! my little world. Then two old but classic rollarcoasters, and the Fool the Gueser game, took a couple of attempts but we all won big blow up mallets ^_^ Yeah we're silly anime geeks :P
By then we were feeling pretty wiped(well considering only Meg had gotten any real amount of sleep the night before) me and misty went on Serial Thriller again, while Meg and Ann had face painting done. I was silly and immature and bought overpriced candy(hey i needed a sugar rush to drive)
We decided we wanted to hit an anime store before coming back home, and while Misty was trying to figure out which was closer First Colony or Planet Anime I executed my right as driver and declared that I wasn't driving any place I didn't know. Espeically not under their directions. ANd double especially not when Kirby st was right by astroworld and ALL we had to do was go down kirby and we would be at PA. That part of town I know! So we went, didn't see anything I wanted Misty and Ann got stuff and we head off again. Was almost to 59 when I realized "hey no wonder everything looks so dark. I'm still wearing my fucking sunglasses" Which I then refused to take off until some-one found my normal glass in my purse and gave them to me (dark is better than blurry, I could still distingush shapes in movement in the dark)
Finally home, Misty is passed out, Meg and Ann are watching anime and I just gave my hair the heaviest condition treatment of it's life. mmmm, bed's looking pretty good but I have to take people home
