Bored babbling

*whimper* I was going to go out catch a flick, and go shoot pool with a friend to celebrate new year's, but thank's to a cold that's been dogging me for a couple days I'm too tired. Hell I'll probably be lucky if I manage to stay awake till midnight. So now I'm bored and remembering my family is a weird bunch of freaks and not the cool kind. I mean some-how my aunt's, mom's and my appointments with our ob/gyn became a conversation topic of incredible interest and humor during my visit. Leaving me fleeing to the basement in horror. Soon followed by Debbie and my brother. Now I remember why I always spent so much time down there on visit A. it's the warmest part of the house. B. All the cool stuff is down there(pool table, pinball games etc) and most importantly C. It was safe from all of the grown-ups' boring icky madness. Oh yeah I'm bored. Got my new-year candle burning, and debating about breaking out some of my cheap wine. Hope everyone else is having a more interesting New Year's than mine.

Sad thing is this is the second year in a row that I've been sick on New year's Eve. Though I do prefer the cold to whatever crazy bug I had last year.

Two years ago I was partying in downtown Orlando at a hopping club when I was hit with a sudden bout of Montezuma's revenge. I've never run for my car (parked three blocks away) so fast in all my life. We made it home just in time for me to tear into the bathroom.

Ugh. THAT was by far the worst New Years or me.

Even so, I do hope you feel better soon.
