Sep. 20th, 2006 11:59 pmOk, so last weekend when did the last major system conversion and updates for our big merger with bank-one. Naturally there are some problems but fortunately they're only affecting a minority of customers(still causes a boost to our call volume) and the issues are pretty easy to resolve.
They day everything started management sent out emails with instructions on how to handle two common issues for customers using microsoft money or quicken to make sure they custoemr can transition for the conversion and not lose any date. One minute before close I got a customer who has spoken with a different rep earlier. That rep had completely fucked the customer up, having him delete the account in MM and recreate it(WRONGWRONGWRONGWRONGWRONG) he lost all the transationa he had downloaded and no way to get them back. ARGH!!!!!!!!!! I was 15 minutes late getting out because of this.
AM totally breaking out some of the booze tonight I was to just punch something.
