So yesterday was the visit to my parents to see my aunt Jenny and her friend Cindy. A. Jenny and Mom had a quilting class and so weren't home till around 4pm. To kill time I went to the mall, didn't spend as much as I could have and did get mainly things that I needed(new sandals as my dear beloved clarks were falling apart) But I did finally give into temptation and buy Kingdom Hearts 2. I had been trying to wait until I finished one of my other games, but hadn't felt the desire to play any of them recently. Gamer's Block I guess.

Finally did the visit to the house, chatted with my parent's and aunt. I think I upset her when I said explained my plan that one persom will get a cross-stitch from every for christmas, but that it wasn't her turn yet. Oh well I barely have time for the one I'm doing for my mom this year(plus all the projects that I want to do) to be overly concerned. Didn't stay long as I still needed groceries and I was feeling pretty tired.

Went home and proceeded to play KH2 for5 and a half hours, getting through the prologue and tutorials(longest prologue ever)


It's probably a good thing that I was playing now rather then a week or so ago when I was feeling slightly stressed and hormonal or else I would have been crying over the prologue.

The prolgue featers a young blond boy named Roxas who looks a lot like Sora, he lives in a small twon called Twilight Town. He's been having strange dreams of Sora's adventures from the first game, as well as visions of kairi and and girl named Namine. It's the end of summer vacation and he's spending time with his friends and weird things are happening. You go through 6 days which are basically tutorials on how to do different things(odd jobs for money, fighting etc.) And yu learn about Organization 13 which is seaRching for "something"

At the end we find that Roxas is connected to Sora and that he holds half of Sora's power and so must return it to him. After this happens Roxas is just gone and all of his friends forget him and it just makes me sad. I was liking Roxas and I hope they didn't create him just to get rid of him like that(probably not as there's too many loose ends involving him)

Now as to some of my thoughts, once in control of Sora and I guess starting the game proper we learn about some of the new enemies that have appeared the Nobodies. The Nobodies are people with strong minds and wills who's hearts have fallen into the darkness and have become heartless. The empty shells of thier bodies begin moving under their own will and in some cases are very intelligent and can plan and pretend to have emotions. The Organization 13 consists of these Nobodies and apparently Roxas was one of them.

Personally I think the naming of the enemy types is rather backwards(the nobodies have bodies but no hearts and the heartless are hearts in some spirit form) My theory right now is that the Nobodies are look for a way to reunite themselves with their hearts, but I could be wrong.
