Jun. 16th, 2006 10:55 pmOk so today was girly girl day with
madamblue We first got together for lunch at California Pizza Kitchen. Mmm schrimp Scampi pizza and hummus.
Then came a staple of any girly girl day, shoe shopping. ^_^ I got a pair of wedge sandals that I saw last week, but held off on buying

Ok technically they're children's shoes but they were so cute and they fit so I just had to get them. It would have violated some cosmic karmic law if I didn't. Unfortunately didn't find anything for jen, well except for probably the most hidious pair of shoes that just spoke to her. She decided to think about it. We then went mall crawling, hitting torrid, sephora and various jewelry stores.
Then as my new shoes demanded a pedicure I wanted to hit the nail salon they had ther, tried to convince Blue into a pedicure, but she wouldn't go for it. Did managed to convince her to try her first ever manicure. It looks really really nice.
We then grabbed munchies and headed for Blockbuster. We wondered around and picked up Mysterious Island with Patrick Stewart as Nemo. I think we last 15 minutes before bringing out the booze. It was just so bad. We have an incredibly high tolerence for bad movies, but this wasn't a movie. It was a tv mini-series that had been put on dvd. *shudders* horrible production quality, and just bad. The only way it would have been tolerable would be to just skip all the scene except the ones with Patrick Stewart. Damn but I like how he looked in this.
