I got an email from my manager about the dress code. It is changing and being finalized right now. The only detail she could give is that jeans will only be allowed on friday, saturday, and sunday. It goes into effect on March 1st, so depending how quickly they put the final dress code out I'll have time to buy new clothes for it, but damnit I don't want to buy new clothes. We don't need a new dress code, customer don't see us, let us be comfy and casual.

It's something about "professionalism in the office" or along those lines. *shrug* Luckily the dress code at Borders is very lax...I had a uniform at Hollywood and a strict dress code at Pier 1. Only Kohl's offered the same sort of comfort. Go crappy retail jobs!
