Well I hit the wrong button earlier so no-one could see my post. But I made it through Rita ok, it wasn't much worse then a bad thunderstorm(just lasted longer) Looks like the contact center is still closed(which is good cause it means I have time to get my apartment back in order.

Also I ended up on the news today. While waiting to get gas for my PT cruiser with my mom one of the local channels( KHBT 2) I think was out doing a story at the gas station. And the reporter random walked by and started interviewing me and my mom. I probably had a very nice "Oh CRAP!" expression on my face when she walked up and started talking to us cause well I looked like crap. My hair was up in sailormoon-esgue pigtails, and I'm wearing a rather christmassy t-shirt. At least it's not likely to be repeated as it was a live report and we weren't very interesting.

Oh nothing special, just trying to figure out how long we had been in the car and how relieved we were when we saw a gas station with gas. Considering how close my parents are to the place, and that my dad had been scouting around earlier and saw the tanker trunk there wasn't much. It was also funny because not ten minutes before my mom was going "Your car is going to be on the news" and I'm thinking "As long as I'm not on the news"
