And going into the realm of Home Equity Loan sales. Apparently the the home equity department is getting extrtemely busy(and with the rate as low as it is that's perfectly understandable) So to help take care of the call volume they decided to to do a sorta loanout program where bankers from other areas get trained and work there for 90 days. My supervisor picked me out for the program, so for the past 2 weeks I've been getting trained for this new department. It's interesting and slightly intimidating with all the regulations and I am no longer allowed to tell a customer no(I am required to leave that to the underwriters) Today I was supposed to talk to customers today and try to sell them on home equity lines of credit or loans. Of the 5 people I talked I sold 4 applications. ^_^ *bounces* I think I'm going to like it there.
