Kitty Update!
Nov. 7th, 2008 07:57 pmTeddy's X-rays today showed a little movement and he did poop a little at the vet's. And after a day of IV fluid he's much better hydrated. The goal is still the same tonight. Try to get him to eat, and more fluid. And tomorrow again trip to the vet for fluids and X-rays.
YAY!! Teddy ate while I was preparing this post. The vet gave me a little sample bag of temptation treats. I was opening them up and teddy showed interest so I offered him on and he went Om nomnom. I dumped most of the bag in front of him(a few were tossed to Chester and Carrie so they wouldn't try and steal from Teddy) I think he ate about half the bag before he gave up. He then went to the litter box to try and poop and last I saw he was drinking some kitty milk and sniffing at cat food. Still no word on what's caused the original blockage, but we're getting things to move so it's a good sign.
