(no subject)

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Today was rather a different Thanksgiving for us. I went out to my parents and let them check out my DSlite and then we went to Laundry's Thanksgiving Buffet. Which actually brings me to the funny story for this year. We all went in my parents minivan and while I was climbing out I had my hand on the doorframe between the front door and rear door, when my mom closed her door right onto my hand. I think I sorta squeaked just in shock until my mom turned around and opened the door freeing me. Took my rings off and laughed about because I couldn't really do anything else. It was sore for a while and there's some really faint bruising and swelling but nothing major.

Anyway onto the buffet. Oh god was that food good. And I got to have more variety in stuff then I would if my mother had cooked. Not to mention the lovely brandy alexander(note to self put brandy and creme de cacoa on shopping list) and cheesecake for desert.

Back to my parents place to help put up the christmas tree, They once again have a new one, a 7ft tall skinny that looks really good in their place. Hung around until Larry and Debbie showed up and we hung out for a short time and I tried her yummy pumpkin pie which was very very pretty. It had a cut out of a pumpkin in the center and the edge of the pie crust was shaped like pumpkins. So cute. Before finally heading home again
