I don't think they planned this very well
Feb. 12th, 2006 11:55 pmSo Chase is merging with Bankone, as part of this process all accounts will eventually be access through chase.com rather than sites maintained by bankone. This week in preperation for that change thay're doing a migration of a larger number of accounts that originated with bankone or firstusa, even though some(a lot) of those customers have been going through chase.com to access their account currently. The fun part is that during this process these customers can't access their account through chase.com, but have to use cardmemberservices.com. They did not send any advance notice to the customers and when the customers try to log in they get an error message saying "Your username and password are currently inactive, please call customer service) Guess how many calls I took about this today?
