Dec. 28th, 2005 05:15 pmWell I have survived another year of holidays and am finally home in Houston. *wallows in soft comfy bed* I'm apparently an oddity in the family in that I like my bed to be soft and everyone else prefers a hard firm mattress. And let's not get into the difference between down pillows and hard fiberfill pillows.
It was a better trip then last year, no where near as cold and my Uncle Jim fixed up the basement of my grandpa's house. YAY it's fun to hang out down there again.
My grandmother is doing well and loved the cross-stich peice I made for her. Gorged myself on sugar cookies and divinity candies. And I got to see my cousin Kristie and Aunt Patty who I haven't seen in a while. Surprisingly I actually got to see my Grandma twice in one trip because Uncle Mike brought her down to my Grandpa's house. That was really nice because we got to see her again and didn't have to split apart the family to do it.
I got some nice things, including some new shirts, a lovely purple jewelbry box, some earrings, and a new watch. Now I get to have a day of rest and then it's off to my parents to do the Texas Clan's christmas exchange on Friday.
