So tonight my mother and I went out to see Wicked! OMG that show is awesome. The music, the staging the costumes all rocked. There were some interesting twists and I will never be able to watch The Wizard of Oz the same way again. The boy who sat next to my mom was really into the show. He was raving about it to some-one on his cellphone during intermission and was in tears at some point according to my mom.

The dress was also a big hit, earning me a "You're beautiful" comment from the people sitting in front of us and from a women as we exited the theater. Sadly all of the souviner t-shirts were way to expensive(I really want the Wicked and Defy Gravity tees)

Then as we were leaving my mom realized she was out of gas and we have to go nuts in the middle of downtown trying to find a gas station. We didn't have any luck until my mom spotted a Houston police wrecker coming down the street to a stop light. She pulled over into an empty parking lot and got out to show the guy we were in trouble, he came over and then lead us to a gas station. Yay crisis averted, and without getting hopelessly lost, we were less then a block from I-10.

Finally home and currently ripping my Wicked cast recording in mp3s.

*bangs head* I have lost my wallet. I know I had it yesterday when I went shopping, and it was in my purse when I got home. But some-how when I was switching things to my evening purse it disappeared. It's not in my regular purse, or my evening purse. I know it's somewhere in my apartment but I don't know where. Ugh! Better keep to cleaning and hopefully it'll show up.
