Sep. 2nd, 2005 05:53 pmUgh I am utterly exhausted right now. I haven't been properly asleep since about 9:30am 9-1-05 work is still pissing me off right now(the customers that is) and I haven't been able to leave on time for the past week.
Although I like the fundraisers they've started, first there the matching donations from employees(standard for big biz I think) and today they had a little bazaare. I think it's just stuff they had left over from various bank events(gifts they gave employees for holidays) I ended up buying a teddy bear to use as stress relief while one the phone(if it survives the month I'm changing it's diversity t-shirt to a survivor shirt) and they ended up raising almost 2500$ before they had to stop for the day.
The 6th-9th they're going to gather supplies for the Astrodome refugees, so I have stuff for that too.
Right now the only other fundraiser I really want to take part in is the The Buzz request-a-thon I wish I could get the money together to get the Phantom of the Opera song by Me First and the Gimmie Gimmies played.
ETA: While I was picking stuff up at Target to the supplies donation I noticed something interesting, on all of the most basic items( toiletries, etc. . .) they had either cut back the price or had things on clearance. Not much, but I guess it made it easier for people to add extra things to their cart to donate.
