Misson accomplished

Recently I've been getting an itch to sew and make costumes. Only hitch is I don't have a sewing machine, so today I met up with my mom(home ec teacher) and went shopping for a basic machine. First place we went to had some nice but expensive ones(cheapest was 300$ used) so we off to the second shop my mom knew off. ANd there they had a nice, basic used machine for 129$. With a case and some accessories(bobbins, needles and blindstich foot) it still only came to 159$

So the mission for today accomplish we ended up back at her house and went swimming(me in the ultra girly girly swimsuit she had gotten for me) which lasted until mom and dad realized that their two little dogs had escaped and were missing. Not fot long fortunately, no sooner had I changed and walked out the door to go looking when a SUV pulled up, a women hopped out and said "Is this XXX Chamberlain cove? I have two small white dogs" So the two runaways were back safe and sound, and we headed out for dinner and margaritas at a local mexican place. We talked a bit about various vacations, like the time my parents pulled me and my brother out of the first week of school to go to Florida(and this is why I'm a spoiled brat)
