The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
Jun. 15th, 2004 10:23 pmThe Good
Went to the Alamo Drafthouse cinema after work for their showing of Saiyuki,(vol 9) barely got there in time. Ended up sitting next to Greg Ayres, the American VA for Goku. We chatted and traded comments during the show(got to hear him bitch about ADV not getting the rights to Saiyuki Reload and how the people who did get it, didn't even try to get him to stay as Goku) At the end I pulled out my bishonen coloring book I got at A-kon and got him to sign the pic of Goku that's in it. Heehee, I acted like such a little fangirl. But it was fun and I hope I get to meet him again.
The Bad.
Found out today that they're finally putting my team on the blended sales and service. The training is the 21st-23rd 8am to 6pm. What's so bad about it? Well I work 4 days a week 10 hrs a day 9am to 7:45pm. My days off are Sun, Mon, and Wen. Next week, in order to do the training I have to come in on TWO of my days off, and still come in for my normal shift Thurs, Fri, and Sat. It would be so bad if I knew they were going to pay me for the nearly TWENTY HOURS of mandatary overtime they're putting me through. But they don't know if there's enough in the budget to pay all of us the overtime we would put in for the training. They might give us additional paid time off but right now it's all in the air.
The Ugly
That will be me at the end of next week. *whimper*
