Well managed to get my mom picked up and out to my brothers. Fortunately we stopped at Denny's along the way and got breakfast. We talked an I told her about the drama going on at work, and my supervisor who has to go in for surgery on fri. We got to my brother's house just before they woke up. Mom was happy to see Carolyn and Larry. Unloaded her luggage, played with their new kitten who is well on his way to becoming a kitty gigilo and then crashed until 2. Then went off to make sure that me and my team could donate blood in my supervisor's name to help her out with the surgery. We can, shared the info with the rest of the team and then donated. I have to say this was the easiest time I've had donating, the previous times I've come close to passing out and it took forever before I felt up to moving. And oooo I got chocolate chip cookies still warm and gooey from the oven. Rest of the team will probably be going in over the next two days when they have time. But right now i'm tired and gonna take a nap
